My name is Maureen Oliver and I was born and raised in Portland. I'm the third of four, and a proud aunt to five. I love the sound of rain, a good cup of coffee, cedar trees, knock-knock jokes and homemade pasta.
Oh, and photography. I love photography. I can't think of anything as amazing as capturing a moment and freezing it for eternity. I have my own collection of old photos-my grandparent's wedding photos, my parent's baby photos, and of course, thousands of photos from my own childhood. I have always said, if there was a fire at my house and I could only save one thing, I wouldn't hesitate before grabbing those old albums.
I fell in love with photography in high school when I apprenticed with a local photographer. But it wasn't until after I finished college that I decided to pursue it as a career. I haven't set my camera down in years, so it only felt natural.
I love Portland and exploring new areas, with my camera in hand. If you're interested in taking advantage of all that Portland has to offer, please contact me. I might just have a good knock-knock joke for you.
